We are so excited about the upcoming performances of the Four Tenors at our very own Power House Theater in Walla Walla. On Saturday, Feb. 18th, we will provide transportation for those of you in the Tri-cities area from the Pasco, Red Lion departing at 4:00pm. We will stop at Three Rivers Winery for a buffet style dinner catered by Andre’s Kitchen which includes: Caesar Salad, Steamed Rice, Roast Chicken Provencal,and Cumin Spiced Roast Pork Loin with vegetables. One bottle of wine per table is included as well. Then we will proceed to the theater where we will enjoy the best of Pop, Country, Broadway, Rock, and Classical music from premium main floor seats! Our Whitman College Men’s Basketball team is hoping to continue their winning streak as they take on the Whitworth University Pirates in Spokane tonight. After three wins in a row against Pacific Lutheran University, Linfield, and Pacific, they are currently tied for second place in the NWC. We are confident that tese talented young men will give their opponents a run for their money! We love watching how well they work together as a team and know they’ll go far. We’ll be on the road with them for the next two weekends for their games with Willamette University, Lewis & Clark College, and George Fox University. We’re looking forward to some very exciting basketball matches!
Whitman women’s basketball knocked out two huge wins this weekend against University of Puget Sound and Pacific Lutheran University to put us at 2-2 in Conference play. These were two great team wins for us-everyone contributed! Very exciting! It felt great to play a weekend of great Whitman Basketball. We hope to take this momentum into next weekend as we take on Linfield and Pacific at home. Big thanks to Joe and Dream Ride for getting us to and from safe and sound!
