Sisters Oregon Quilt Show
Quilt lovers won’t want to miss this fantastic display of over 1,300 quilts on July 13 & 14, 2012. We will depart from the Walla Walla Senior Center at 9:00am on Friday. We will stop along the way for a leisurely picnic lunch and then make our way to the Stafford Inn in Prineville. After enjoying a complimentary breakfast on Saturday morning, we will head into Sisters, Oregon for one of the biggest quilt shows in the Northwest complete with vendor demostrations! We will return to Walla Walla Saturday evening by 9:00pm. The cost for this tour is only $149/person double occupancy; 189/person single occupancy; or $129/person triple occupancy. All Ages Welcome! All reservations are due by June 30, 2012.
Leavenworth Summer Theater
Broadway lovers can’t afford to miss this trip to Leavenworth for this year’s performances of Annie Get your Gun and the Sound of Music. Join us on July 25-27, 2012. We will depart from Walla Walla’s Plaza Way Safeway at 8:30am. Pick up passengers at the Pasco Red Lion at 9:30am. We’ll stop for lunch at the Olive Garden in Yakima. After checking into the Enzian Inn, you will have time to spend however you like (shopping, dinner, etc.) until its time for Annie Get Your Gun. On the second day you will have the whole day to explore Leavenworth’s shops, golf at the Enzian Falls Putting Course (free), soak in the hot tub, or just kick back and relax. That evening we will see The Sound of Music. Both shows are in outdoor theaters.On the way home on Friday, we will stop in Ellensburg for a “fast food” lunch. We will return back to Walla Walla around 5:00pm.Only $325/person double occupancy; $450/person single occupancy. Rooms are filling up fast so reserve your spot today! Couer d’Alene Wooden Boat Show
Come see one of the largest displays of wooden boats at the 47th annual wooden boat show on the beautiful Lake Couer d’Alene on August 17 & 18, 2012. We will depart from the Walla Walla Plaza Safeway at 8:30am. We will pick up passengers at the Pasco Red Lion at 9:30am. Along the way we will make a rest stop at the Country Mercantile and stop for lunch in Ritzville. Upon arriving in Coeur d’Alene, we will visit the Museum of Northern Idaho. Next we will have dinner at the Olive Garden and then check into the Shilo Inn. After a complimentary breakfast, we will make our way down to the lake to take in the boat show, vendors, and live enteratinment. We will return to Walla Walla by 6:30pm on Saturday evening. All this for only $145/person double occupancy; $195/person single occupancy. Hotel rooms are filling up fast! All reservations are due by March 31, 2012.
Silverwood Theme Park
Come spend a day of fun in the sun with us at Silverwood Theme Park on Sunday, August 5,2012. We will depart from Walla Walla’s Plaza Way Safeway at 7:00am. We also offer a pickup at 8:00am at the Pasco Red Lion as well. We will arrive at around 11:00am when they open. You will have until 7:00pm to enjoy all of the thrilling rollercoasters, waterslides, magic shows etc. to your heart’s content! After a day full of hard play, you can sleep the whole way home and let us get you there in safety, comfort, and style! We will arrive back to Pasco around 10:30pm and Walla Walla around 11:30pm. Ages 3-7 & 65+ $60 Ages 8-64 $75 Reserve by July 23.(Price does not include the cost of meals. No outside food or drink allowed in Park)
Westward Ho! Pendleton Parade
Experience the Pendleton, Oregon tradition of celebrating life in the old west by attending the Westward Ho! Parade on Friday, September 14, 2012. There are no motorized vehicles in the parade. All buggies, wagons, stage coaches, etc. not to mention the native americans in all of their authentic costumes! This parade has been a favorite for 100 years! We will depart from Walla Walla’s Plaza Safeway at 7:00am. Our first stop is the Cowboy Breakfast put on by the VFW. The parade begins at 9:00am. After the parade we will have lunch in Pendleton and then head back to Walla Walla by 4:00pm. The price for this day trip is $45 plus the cost of lunch. Bring the entire family ! All reservations are due by August 13, 2012.
